Dr. Nils Koenig is a corporate communication expert and coach from Germany. He holds a B.Sc. in Management & Economics, a M.Sc. in Management and a Dr. rer. pol. of Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg / Germany in international management.
His professional experience in the corporate communication field include among others several years in the communication department of Daimler AG in Stuttgart / Germany and significant corporate communication consulting work for example for GIZ GmbH, the World Bank Group and National Governments in different countries in Central and Southeast Asia. Most recently, in 2015 he was appointed Communications and Policy Officer of the British Embassy in Laos.
From 2010 to 2014 he taught marketing, corporate communication and international business at the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek/Kyrgyzstan. His research focus is on international corporate communication challenges and on the role of social media in corporate communication. He has presented his research work at various international conferences and published research articles with influential scientific journals such as Corporate Reputation Review, Management Research Review and Central Asia Business Journal.
Driven by entrepreneurial spirit he is currently establishing his start-up company MySnax as expert of healthy fruit-based snacking products in Europe and Asia.
